FINALLY got my hands on it!

After daily visits to Superdrug I finally got the Sleek blush from the avoir la peche colletion called Pan Tao! and how it was worth the wait!!! A+ for the packaging, its pretty, and unlike other Sleek products it actually says what it is on the front (makes it much easier to find in the draw full of other Sleek face products!!!) I know by now its bla bla bla Sleek can do no wrong for me, but sorry its going to be like that again! I love this blusher..... the colour is mega off-putting, its basically bright orange, but you can see from the swatches it is more corally and can be blended. Its such a summery colour. It is completely matte, giving you the option to add shimmer or leave it out if you want. Obviously if your a light pink kinda gal, this isn't for you but the actual texture of the blushes is fantastic, really buildable and blendable so if this colour isn't for you still check out the range (the colour actually called 'coral' is beautiful too)

Here it is on:

Let them eat 'Peche'

I think Sleek are basically on a one brand mission to bankrupt me with all these new launches!

The newest collection is called Avoir la Peche and paraguaya is this palette. The collection also contains a nude/coral coloured lip conditioner and the blusher which I was going to buy but Superdrug didn't have it yet.... boo them!

I almost missed this palette if it wasn't for Adrienne at http://thecrazybitchbeautygazette.blogspot.com/ reminding me it was out!!! Thank you!

I didn't even want to touch the shadows, they looked good enough to eat :) but I did and once again what a beautiful mixture of nudes and extreme colours to suit everyone! I think the bright orange could put people off, but try dabbing it over red lippy to give a great matte coral effect, very on trend!

Here are some looks I found from s/s 2011 shows that could use colours from this palette:

Versace

Narciso Rodriguez

Dior

D&G (using the orange on the lips)

Carolina Herrera

la la la Happy birthday to me!

It was my birthday at the weekend and I thought I'd share with you the lovely gifts I was given. (Yes I am obsessed with dachshunds)
Did you spot the mac goodies?
I got the mineralize skin finish in 'pink power' and the Penultimate eye liner in 'rapid black'. I know that everyone has gone on about it but I just have to mention the size!!! They are both so big (and I saw the lip glosses in store on Tuesday and they are just stupidly big)!
The skin finish could possibly be one of my favourite products ever. It does everything, seals makeup without making it too matte, gives coverage on its own, its a blusher, a highlighter, a bronzer, a finishing powder and a contourer.... basically if you don't have this in your life.... GET IT!
The eyeliner is a little tricky to use because its so big, but perfect if you like to create a really thick line. Its just going to take a little getting used to but I love the felt tip nib and it stays on really really well without the colouring dulling. Unfortunately I don't think its quite knocked Benefit's Magic Ink liner off the top liner spot.
I also want to say a big thank you to all my friends and family for the lovely gifts and birthday messages

LOOKy here

I can already see my university lecturer's disappointed look but I have to admit this, LOOK is my absolute all time favourite magazine! I know its cheap..... I know its high street and I KNOW its printed on very rubbish paper! but its the best!

And here is an amazing, really easy look taken from LOOK. What a gorgeous alternative to the red lip!

The outside of the lip is lined with a darker purple pencil, I bought collection 2000 pencil in damson (£2.99), but I'd recommend a actual pencil not a automatic because its easier to get a blurred edge. Barry M do some amazing colours.

Then you colour in the inside of the lips with a red pencil, I also patted on some red eye shadow from a Sleek palette to the centre of the lips to make it really matte.

I did take a photo to show you the finished look but my cameras abit rubbish and you couldnt see the separate colours. Boo!

Does anyone else have ideas to update the red lip?
