Bourjois, Delice De Soleil

Do you sometimes find that your foundation is darker than your neck?

Do you fake tan to the point of tango then realise your foundation doesn't match?

Have you been sun worshipping but with a high SPF on your face (well done you)?

Problem SOLVED!
OMG I freaking love this product. I kinda bought it because it was abit of a gimic and I LOVE gimics but its probably going to be finished soon because I love it so much, I might for the first time in my life buy a back up!
This spray on bronzer by Bourjois launched as part of the summer collection. Its a fine powder spray that comes in one bronze shade. However it can be layered to make it darker.

I have been wearing this spray on its own and it does give alittle coverage to the face. I apply this at arms length after my foundation but before anything else, I spray it evenly all over the face. Some people have been saying that they blend the product after its applied, but I haven't found I needed to do that. Although if you were wanting to do something fancy like contour with this product you would maybe hold it closer and blend.

I have been using this on my face when I have been fake tanning my body to make everything match, but it can also be used on the body as a wash off tanner.

Here are some swatches, on the left the product is sprayed heavily and on the right of the big strip, it is sprayed lightly as you probably would on the face.
And here is the one sided woman, product on the right, none on the left. I was pretty heavy handed so it showed up in the photo, I'm not actually half Oum Pa Lumpa.

Has anyone else tried this product? What did you think?

zoom zoom...

I knew it was only a matter of time before I bought this mascara. I love Bourjois, especially their mascaras... and this one has a motor!
'Volume fast and perfect'(£7.99) is a battery powered, rotating mascara. To be honest I thought it was abit of a gimmick but it actually really separates the lashes and lifts them loads! The brush has loads of bristles too which is great, makes it easy to fan out the lashes
Heres my bare lashes:

Heres with Volume fast and perfect. Bear in mind that I like to wear mascara quite heavy and you can make it alot less clumpy:

...On an off note.... fellow bloggers, aren't these close up eye pictures the scariest thing...I'm sure I had my eyebrows done like last week :-S

Anyway, I would say theres a few things I don't like about this mascara, the actual mascara tube is really small, giving the impression it wont last long but we will see. The product is a grey/black and I prefer a jet black. Finally I'm worried the battery might not last as long as I'll use it, but I have had a go with it without the motor and its still pretty good.

Really really like this, its definitely found a place in my makeup bag. It might seem abit silly but it actually really works! Check it out!

red red lips

How sexy is this MEGA glossy red lip thats all over the place this spring?
Its making me even more excited for the Mac/wonderwoman launch. Mac's bringing out the most amazing bright red lip glass called, funnily enough, 'wonderwoman' which launches in March in the UK!
If your after a slightly cheaper version have a look at the new and improved effect 3D glosses from Bourjois (£6.99).

Clothes Show, 6/12/2010

On Monday I went to work on the Benefit stand at the Clothes show, Birmingham. Heres a picture of the beautiful Benefit stand...

Although I was working I did get a chance to pick up some beauty bargains. As Bourjois is one of my favourite budget brands I visited their stand where they were sell 3 products for £12. I stupidly didn’t take very much cash to the show so I could only get 3 things :(.
I got...

10 hour sleep effect foundation: This foundation is light weight and meant to give a dewy finish that wakes up the skin, and although I have had a stinking cold for the past week, it has perked up my skin. I would say it does dry to a slight powdery/ matte finish and the coverage is only slightly more than a tinted moisturiser but if it can make my sicky dull skin glow it has to have something going for it. It managed to pretty much last most of the day with a primer underneath, I only noticed about 3pm/4pm that it was wearing off.

Healthy mix, Anti fatigue concealer: I bought this after it was recommended on the ‘Yummy mummy beauty blog’ and I have to say I am pretty impressed. I think the colour I have bought is slightly too light for me but it covers up my dark circles really well and the smooth hydrated finish it leaves is really great for the price it is.

Volume Clubbing mascara: I have used this mascara many times and I love it. It gives great volume which can be layered on really heavy but the bristles keep the lashes separated. It’s also really smudge proof; I’ve never had any colour fall under my eye when wearing this mascara!

I also got given a free Benefit Boi-ing concealor for working the day, I’m abit obsessed with concealor at the moment because of my big red sniffy cold nose and you really can’t beat boi-ing, it has mega high coverage but isn’t too cakey, if you have never used Benefit before its a great product to start with.... you’ll never look back.

And finally a big thank you to the people at Carmex that gave me a free lip balm, I never used Carmex before but I love the menthol effect and will be buying it again!
